In 1991, following his graduation in Civil Engineering from Mysore University, Tenzing Sherpa founded NP Rugs Industries with a vision to preserve the dignity of craftsmanship and empower artisans. Alongside his wife, Sita Sherpa, whose unwavering support and shared values have been instrumental, they have cultivated a thriving community built on respect, responsible production, and artistry.
Today, NP Rugs works with over 1,000 skilled artisans across Nepal, combining ancient techniques with meticulous craftsmanship to produce handmade rugs of exceptional quality. Every rug reflects their commitment to excellence, destined to endure for generations.
